Audit Supervisor

About the role

The Audit Supervisor will lead the planning, execution and completion of audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of UAE clients, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise statutory and other audit engagements from commencement through completion.
• Develop audit plans, perform risk assessments, and evaluate internal controls and financial reporting systems.
• Review financial statements for IFRS and UAE regulatory compliance and prepare management letters.
• Supervise, coach and review the work of junior auditors and manage audit timelines, budgets and deliverables.

Required profile

• ACCA Affiliate/Member or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• 4–6 years of external audit experience, including 1–2 years supervising audit engagements.
• UAE audit experience and experience with SMEs is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Ability to independently plan and execute audit engagements, including risk assessment, materiality, sampling and substantive procedures.
• Familiarity with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT and audit software/ cloud‑based accounting platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.
