AutoCAD Draftsman – Fire Fighting Systems

About the role

We are looking for a proactive AutoCAD Draftsman with a focus on fire fighting systems to join our engineering team in Dubai. The role involves creating precise design documentation for fire protection solutions while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate AutoCAD drawings, schematics and layouts for fire fighting and protection systems, including piping, sprinkler arrangements and equipment placement.
• Update and maintain technical documentation throughout all project phases, ensuring compliance with client requirements, safety standards and company policies.
• Work closely with engineers, sales and project managers to clarify technical needs, resolve design challenges and support successful project delivery.
• Participate in site visits and surveys to gather data for drafting and propose practical on‑site solutions.
• Present drawings and technical solutions to clients, assisting the sales team in communicating system benefits.
• Maintain drawing registers and enforce version control across all documentation sets.
• Suggest improvements to documentation processes, drawing standards and system designs.
