Automotive Designer – Vehicle Modification & Conversion

About the role

We specialize in designing, fabricating and modifying police, military, defense, government and commercial vehicles. We are looking for a talented Automotive Designer to create innovative, production‑ready vehicle modification concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop modification and conversion concepts for specialized vehicles.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD.
• Design sheet‑metal parts, structural components, mounting brackets, assemblies and fabrication layouts.
• Produce assembly drawings, exploded views and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Coordinate with production, fabrication, welding, procurement and quality teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Review customer requirements and deliver practical engineering solutions that meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain design revisions, drawing registers and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support during prototype development and production.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in automotive design or vehicle modification.
• Hands‑on experience in sheet‑metal design.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of vehicle structures, fabrication, welding, bending and sheet‑metal manufacturing processes.
