AV Events Engineer

About the role

The client seeks a technical owner for an all‑hands event space and a production studio, based full‑time onsite in Dubai. You will support internal events, livestreams, studio productions and recordings, ensuring high‑quality AV delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, test, operate and troubleshoot a wide range of AV broadcast equipment.
• Work with internal stakeholders to deliver professional events and production services.
• Attend production meetings, technical rehearsals and manage flex crew for large productions.
• Provide post‑event documentation for internal reporting and metrics.
• Support after‑hours events when required.

Required profile

• Experience supporting broadcast‑level productions, livestreams, studio recordings and live events.
• Familiarity with production switchers, audio consoles, graphics/playback systems and livestream workflows.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a small production crew.
• Clear communicator with the capacity to manage technical productions from the floor.

Required skills

• Operate Yamaha digital audio consoles (gain staging, patching, routing, monitoring).
• Operate Ross and Blackmagic video switchers and hardware video matrices.
• Use Crestron control systems via UI touch panels and web interfaces.
• Manage Shure ULXD wireless microphone systems and IEMs.
• Handle zoned wireless communications and talkback systems.
• Provide mic dressing and technical advice to on‑stage talent.
• Work with streaming platforms such as TikTok Live, OBS, vMix, Zoom, Teams.
• Use audio/video editing software like Pro Tools, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro.
