AV Manager

About the role

The AV Manager will lead the audio‑visual operations for events and meetings at Rixos Hotels in Ras Al Khaimah. You will ensure all AV equipment is functional, well‑maintained, and aligned with the high standards of the hotel’s all‑inclusive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee setup, configuration, operation and maintenance of microphones, projectors, video displays, sound systems and video‑conferencing equipment.
• Manage AV inventory, storage and organization, and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with event planners to capture AV requirements and provide on‑site support during events.
• Supervise and train the AV team, schedule tasks and ensure adequate coverage.
• Develop and control the AV department budget, including procurement and vendor negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules and performance evaluations.
• Stay current with emerging AV technologies and implement improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years (36 months) of experience in audio‑visual management, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Proven ability to lead a technical team and manage budgets.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
