Aviation Security Officer - Systems

About the role

The Aviation Security Officer – Systems will support the operation, maintenance, monitoring and continuous improvement of aviation security systems and technologies for EY in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures effective protection of aircraft, passengers, crew, ground operations, assets and facilities while maintaining compliance with EY Aviation Security standards and national and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage aviation security systems and technologies to protect EY operations.
• Support the full lifecycle management of Aviation Security Management Systems (SeMS), ensuring reliability and operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate planning, upgrades and technical changes in line with security risk assessments and change management processes.
• Monitor system performance, respond to alerts, failures or vulnerabilities in collaboration with Safety Systems, Digital Technology & Innovation and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, procedures and records for audits and regulatory assessments.
• Collect, analyse and interpret security system data to assess effectiveness, identify trends and provide risk‑based recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance systems, analytics and reporting through automation and best‑practice adoption.
• Support evaluation, trial and adoption of new security technologies aligned with EY’s operational and digital strategies.
