AVP, HR Business Partner (Emiratized Role)

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is hiring an AVP HR Business Partner in Abu Dhabi, an emiratized role. The role works in partnership with n-2 and n-3 roles by understanding their HR requirements and ensuring they receive timely HR support, so that people plans and solutions align with the Group's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Cascade the functional strategy into department business plans and lead talent development, acting as a role model for organisational values and ethics.
• Advise and coach n-2 and n-3 roles and managers on HR policies, performance management and employee relations, keeping up with legislation and trends.
• Prepare and recommend the department budget, monitor financial performance and implement departmental policies, procedures and controls.
• Influence and guide the scoping and implementation of organisational restructures.
• Develop action plans for the development, succession and retention of high-potential individuals and Emiratis.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Support stakeholders in upholding conflict of interest and Code of Conduct policies, including gifts, entertainments and outside business interests.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline.
• 6 years' relevant experience in the banking sector, including at least 2 years in similar HR consultancy positions with progressively greater managerial responsibility.
• A Master's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources is preferred.
