Backend Engineer - Wallets (Remote)

About the role
Tether is looking for a Backend Engineer to join its Wallets team and help build the infrastructure that powers its global digital finance platform. You will work remotely from anywhere in the world, collaborating with product, security and operations teams to deliver high‑performance, secure services.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services that support real‑time wallet operations and rapid user growth.
- Apply agile development practices to deliver innovative features while maintaining code quality and reliability.
- Enforce rigorous security standards across all backend components to protect user assets and data.
Required profile
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong interest in fintech and digital finance ecosystems.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
