Backend Software Engineer (Node.js/NestJS)

About the role

Binghatti, a fast‑growing real‑estate developer in the UAE, is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to design, build and operate cloud‑native services that power its digital platforms. You will work on REST APIs, data stores and integration layers that support mobile and web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop secure REST APIs using NestJS, Node.js (LTS) and TypeScript.
• Integrate third‑party SaaS platforms via REST, OAuth 2.0 and webhooks.
• Model, tune and maintain PostgreSQL databases, Redis caches and queue workflows (BullMQ/RabbitMQ).
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OIDC and enterprise identity providers.
• Deploy, monitor and manage services on Microsoft Azure, maintaining CI/CD pipelines and observability.
• Write production‑ready, well‑tested code and participate in peer code reviews.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience building production‑grade REST APIs with Node.js and TypeScript.
• 4+ years hands‑on with NestJS.
• Strong background in PostgreSQL design and performance optimization.
• Experience with Redis, message queues (BullMQ or RabbitMQ) and Azure cloud services.
• Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT and enterprise identity solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
