Banquet Operations Manager

About the role

As a Banquet Operations Manager at The Mangroves Abu Dhabi, you will lead the daily execution of all banquet functions, ensuring memorable experiences for every guest. You will bring an upbeat attitude and a passion for hospitality to every interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute a variety of banquet events including breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions and galas.
• Oversee function‑room setup, ensuring linens, silverware, glassware and chinaware meet event specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate event details and updates to Food & Beverage, Event Services, Property Operations, Audio‑Visual and Housekeeping teams.
• Manage event breakdown, guaranteeing proper storage of equipment for subsequent events.
• Supervise, coach and develop team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol regulations.
