About the role
JA The Resort in Dubai is hiring a Banquet Waitperson for its Banquet Team, which handles weddings, corporate celebrations and other special events. The role centres on delivering food and beverage service and creating memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service during banquet events
- Set up and prepare event venues, including tables, chairs, linen and service stations
- Welcome guests warmly, genuinely and professionally
- Maintain tables and buffet displays to the highest standards
- Support smooth event operations through teamwork and attention to detail
- Keep the area clean, organised and well presented throughout service
- Anticipate guest needs and create memorable moments in every interaction
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Banquet Waiter/Waitress in a 5-star hotel
- Good English communication skills
- Knowledge of banquet service standards and table settings
- Food Handler Certificate
- Positive attitude, teamwork mindset and passion for outstanding guest service
- Able to work on your feet throughout events
