Bartender – Dubai Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Bartender to join the Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel team. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional beverage service, creating memorable experiences for guests through skilled mixology and attentive service.

Key responsibilities

• Craft and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks, including signature cocktails and classic beverages.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service, promptly meeting guest needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked bar area at all times.
• Process drink orders quickly and accurately while multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food and beverage service.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and handle cash transactions using POS systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene standards and local liquor laws.
• Stay current with beverage trends and suggest innovative drink ideas.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in bartending or related food‑and‑beverage operations.
• Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of Dubai liquor regulations; responsible‑alcohol‑service certification preferred.
