Bartender – Luxury Hotel, Dubai

About the role

The Bartender at The Meydan Hotel will prepare and serve high‑quality alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages while delivering professional, personalized guest service in a 5‑star luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Craft classic and innovative signature cocktails, ensuring recipe consistency and high‑standard service.
• Welcome guests warmly, provide personalized beverage recommendations and employ suggestive selling to promote premium products.
• Execute opening and closing bar procedures, maintain accurate stock levels, assist with monthly inventory counts and control waste.
• Keep the bar area, equipment and glassware sanitized and organized in compliance with HACCP and local health regulations.
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams for food‑beverage pairings and support high‑volume shifts and private events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in advanced cocktail preparation, presentation and seasonal menu development.
• Strong organizational ability, attention to detail and capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced luxury environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays with responsible alcohol service awareness.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of international spirits, wines, beers and liqueurs.
• Mixology techniques and advanced cocktail preparation.
• Menu engineering and seasonal beverage menu development.
• Inventory control, waste minimisation and cost management.
• Food safety, hygiene regulations and HACCP compliance.
