BIM Coordinator - Site Supervision

About the role

A major Transport Infrastructure and Utilities project in Abu Dhabi is looking for a BIM Coordinator to join its Site Supervision team. The role coordinates BIM activities during construction, keeping design models aligned with site execution and project requirements. It is based at the project site office and involves close work with the Engineer, site supervision teams, contractors and stakeholders. Candidates with experience as engineering consultants in site supervision on transport infrastructure and utilities projects are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM implementation and model management during construction
• Review and monitor contractor BIM submissions against project requirements and BIM Execution Plans
• Support site supervision teams in resolving model-related construction and coordination issues
• Facilitate coordination between civil, utilities, roads, transportation and other disciplines
• Conduct clash detection reviews and track resolution of coordination issues
• Ensure consistency between approved designs, construction models and site execution
• Monitor and validate as-built BIM deliverables and record model updates
• Prepare BIM coordination reports, dashboards and progress updates
• Take part in coordination meetings and support digital project delivery and BIM standards
• Coordinate model-based reviews for utilities, roads, drainage, ITS, structures and transportation infrastructure

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of BIM coordination experience on construction-phase projects
• Proven experience with Engineering Consultants in a Site Supervision environment
• Experience on transport infrastructure, roads, highways, utilities, rail, metro, airport or similar projects
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC, and on transportation corridors, drainage, water, wastewater, rail, metro or airport developments
• Experience coordinating contractor BIM deliverables during construction supervision
