BIM Manager

About the role

A highly experienced and strategic BIM Manager is sought to join a team in the UAE and oversee, develop and implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows and standards for major engineering and construction projects. The role leads interdisciplinary coordination, manages dedicated BIM teams and bridges design, engineering and construction to ensure flawless project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) tailored to project requirements.
• Review advanced models for accuracy, compliance and constructability.
• Ensure BIM deliverables match client expectations, project scope and industry standards.
• Supervise, mentor and develop BIM coordinators and modelers, assigning tasks and tracking progress.
• Provide continuous training on BIM tools, workflows and methodologies.
• Promote industry best practices and standards across integrated project teams.
• Lead interdisciplinary coordination and clash detection, and facilitate data exchange between design, engineering and construction teams.
• Manage software infrastructure, including licenses, updates, configurations and troubleshooting.
• Generate BIM progress reports and documentation for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a closely related field.
• 10-15 years of proven experience in construction and engineering, with a significant track record as a BIM Manager or in a similar high-level capacity.
• Proven experience in large-scale staff management, talent development and team building.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, with an analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks, and associated modeling and coordination tools.
• Deep understanding of construction processes, localized standards and modern engineering methodologies.
