BIM Modeler – Fit-Out Specialist

About the role

Black & Grey is seeking an experienced BIM Modeler to create and maintain accurate BIM models for fit‑out and interior projects in Dubai. The role involves developing detailed Revit models, producing construction documentation, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed BIM models for fit‑out and interior projects using Revit.
• Model partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors, joinery, furniture, and other interior elements.
• Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings, sections, elevations, details, and schedules from BIM models.
• Update models based on approved designs, RFIs, site conditions, and revisions.
• Coordinate architectural, MEP, structural, and specialist fit‑out models and resolve clashes.
• Ensure models comply with project standards, LOD requirements, and BIM protocols.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers, site teams, and subcontractors.
• Produce as‑built models and drawings reflecting actual site conditions.
• Maintain model revisions, drawing standards, and accurate project documentation.
• Assist with quantity extraction, schedules, and other model‑based information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a BIM Modeler, preferably on fit‑out/interior projects.
• Strong knowledge of fit‑out construction, materials, finishes and detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Experience working on UAE/GCC projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Navisworks (advantage).
• Basic BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Experience with LOD 300/400 models.
