BIM/CAD Specialist – Landscape

About the role

Parsons is seeking a talented BIM/CAD Specialist focused on landscape design to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will work on a variety of design and drafting assignments, creating detailed BIM models and drawings that meet client requirements from LOD 100 to LOD 350.

Key responsibilities

• Provide front‑line project support to design teams.
• Create landscape BIM models and drawings using Revit and Civil 3D.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks or Revizto.
• Prepare landscape drawings such as general arrangements, grading plans, layouts, and details.
• Develop and maintain CAD and BIM libraries to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with standards and codes (ISO 19650, BS 1192, etc.).
• Compile data, perform routine calculations, and interpret 2D/3D designs.
• Deliver training on CAD, Revit, and Civil 3D to existing users.
• Assist in creating and implementing CAD/BIM standards across the firm.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Landscape, Urban Planning or related field.
• Minimum six years of BIM/CAD design experience in a multidisciplinary environment, preferably on landscape projects.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit (landscape modeling).
• Autodesk Civil 3D.
• AutoCAD.
• Navisworks or Revizto for clash detection.
• Creation and maintenance of CAD/BIM libraries.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BS 1192 standards.
