Biologist / Environmental Scientist – Remote Expert Role

About the role

Ethos is partnering with a leading AI lab to engage experienced biologists and environmental scientists as remote experts. You will help train a cutting‑edge language model by creating, reviewing, and refining AI‑generated technical documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and evaluate AI‑generated environmental impact assessment reports, species habitat surveys, and biodiversity summaries.
• Develop and validate water and soil quality monitoring data sheets and regulatory compliance submissions.
• Design field study methodologies, sampling protocols, and conservation project proposals.
• Translate raw field and laboratory data (species counts, chemistry readings, emissions) into clear, regulator‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in ecological research, environmental consulting, or applied biology.
• Hands‑on background conducting impact assessments, ecological surveys, or regulatory monitoring.
• Proven ability to craft high‑quality technical reports, spreadsheets, and presentation decks.

What we offer

• Compensation of $90 per hour.
