BMS Operator – Building Management Systems

About the role

We are looking for a passionate BMS Operator to join our maintenance team at Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas. You will supervise and control the building management system, ensuring optimal performance of all plant equipment while delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and follow up on Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules with the maintenance supervisor.
• Analyze plant behavior against set points and adjust control parameters as needed.
• Conduct daily audits of plant performance using BMS tools such as data logging, plant review, and alarm manager.
• Diagnose plant failures, propose remedial actions and obtain supervisor approval.
• Leverage historical data to recommend system improvements that boost efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Program the BMS, PPM system, standby power generator, diesel‑driven fire‑fighting pump, and fire alarm system for automatic periodic testing.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a focus on BMS.
• Proven experience in operating and maintaining building management equipment.
• Strong command of English and ability to troubleshoot subsystems.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, adaptable to unpredictable events, and able to stay calm under pressure.
