BMS Operator

About the role

The BMS Operator will work in the Engineering Control Room of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, ensuring smooth operation of building management and fire alarm systems while supporting 24‑hour engineering emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the central building management and fire alarm systems in accordance with hotel standards.
• Respond to engineering emergency calls around the clock and coordinate with field staff.
• Generate diagnostic reports and record work orders in the database.
• Liaise with fire, gas, electricity/water departments and security during emergencies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Certification or training in Building Management Systems (BMS) or related control systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
