Board Certified Family Medicine Physician – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a Western‑trained, board‑certified Family Medicine Physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive, patient‑centered primary care to individuals and families of all ages, adhering to international clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care services for patients of all age groups.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions using evidence‑based practice.
• Conduct routine health assessments, preventive screenings, and health risk evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care through follow‑up.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular risk factors.
• Deliver preventive services including immunizations, health education, and lifestyle counseling.
• Interpret laboratory results, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical tests.
• Perform minor office‑based procedures within the scope of Family Medicine.
• Coordinate referrals with specialists and allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in an electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and CME activities.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
• Accredited postgraduate training in Family Medicine.
• Board certification from an internationally recognized family medicine board (e.g., ABFM, CCFP, GMC CCT, FRACGP, FRNZCGP, MICGP).
• Western training is mandatory.
• Valid DHA license or eligibility letter preferred.
• Minimum 5 years post‑board clinical experience in Family Medicine (preferred).

• Interpretation of laboratory investigations.
• Diagnostic imaging interpretation.
• Performance of minor office‑based procedures.
