Broker Relations Officer - Medical Insurance

About the role

A client of Intelligent Solutions is hiring a Broker Relations Officer (Medical) in Dubai to manage and strengthen relationships with health insurance brokers. The role acts as the main point of contact for broker partners, supporting their performance, helping them sell medical insurance and keeping them up to date with products, tools and guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with health insurance brokers.
• Act as the primary contact, providing quotation support, resolving queries and guiding brokers on medical insurance products and services.
• Keep brokers aligned with business goals and identify growth opportunities through regular communication.
• Deliver product updates, training sessions and workshops on policy features, underwriting guidelines and claims procedures.
• Ensure brokers follow correct procedures for underwriting, policy issuance and claims management.
• Support brokers through the sales process with tools, resources and timely assistance.
• Track and maintain records of broker interactions, sales activity and performance metrics.
• Work with internal teams to resolve operational issues affecting broker performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Healthcare Management or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in medical insurance, preferably in broker relations, account management or a similar client-facing role.
• Strong understanding of health insurance products, underwriting processes and claims procedures.
• Excellent communication, relationship management and presentation skills.
• Ability to conduct training sessions and engage brokers effectively.
• Proactive, service-oriented mindset and collaborative approach.
