Build and Release Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Build and Release Engineer to join our client’s technical team. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining automated build and deployment pipelines to ensure reliable software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
• Automate build, test and deployment processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and fixes into the pipelines.
• Manage software versions, branches, tags and releases.
• Monitor pipelines, identify and resolve incidents, and track errors.
• Optimize build times and streamline release cycles.
• Document pipeline configurations, operational procedures and best practices.
• Stay current with emerging build and deployment technologies and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Build and Release Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems.
• Experience with configuration management or infrastructure‑as‑code tools is a plus.
• Proficient scripting skills for automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
• Good communication skills and a solid level of English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
