Buildings Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

The Buildings Maintenance Coordinator will oversee day‑to‑day maintenance activities for residential properties, ensuring that all repair requests are logged, assigned, and completed efficiently. This role acts as the primary liaison between tenants, the in‑house maintenance team, and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and record maintenance requests in the tracking system.
• Assign work orders to internal technicians and schedule required materials.
• Coordinate with approved vendors for material procurement.
• Monitor progress of repairs to guarantee timely completion.
• Communicate status updates to residents, clients, and internal staff.
• Escalate emergencies or recurring issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Collect post‑repair feedback to assess service quality.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in maintenance coordination or a related administrative role.
• Basic understanding of building MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with tenants, contractors, vendors, and senior management.
• Knowledge of Dubai Roads for optimal staff deployment.
• Multilingual ability in Urdu/Hindi, English, and preferably Arabic.
