Bulk Product Operator

About the role

The Bulk Product Operator is responsible for operating and managing bulk product handling systems and equipment used in cementing operations. The role ensures safe and efficient handling, storage and distribution of bulk cementing products and additives to support successful cementing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bulk handling systems, including silos, conveyors and pneumatic systems, to manage and distribute bulk cementing products and additives.
• Set up and calibrate bulk handling equipment prior to use, ensuring accurate measurement and delivery of materials.
• Oversee loading, unloading and storage of bulk materials, adhering to safety procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to maintain functionality.
• Monitor real‑time operational data such as flow rates, levels and pressures, adjusting settings to optimise performance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma in engineering is preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in bulk product handling or similar operations within the oil and gas industry.
