Business Analyst – Life Insurance Transformation

About the role

Orient Insurance PJSC is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep Life Insurance domain expertise to drive business transformation and technology initiatives across its operations in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to capture objectives, processes, challenges and requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and interviews to gather detailed business needs.
• Produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, process flows and use cases.
• Analyse current processes, recommend improvements and identify automation opportunities.
• Act as liaison between business users, technology teams and external vendors throughout solution design and delivery.
• Support system demonstrations, gap analysis, fit‑gap assessments and vendor evaluations.
• Participate in testing activities (SIT, UAT) by validating requirements and test scenarios.
• Assist with change management, training and business readiness, ensuring traceability of requirements.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of Business Analysis experience, including at least 5 years in Life Insurance.
• Proven ability to gather, document and manage detailed requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
