About the role
The Business Development Executive drives growth by uncovering new market opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s revenue base. This role combines strategic planning, sales execution, and partnership development to enhance market presence.
Key responsibilities
- Research market trends and identify potential new business opportunities and target markets.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events, then qualify prospects and propose suitable solutions.
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships, conduct presentations, and close sales.
- Manage existing accounts, ensure client satisfaction, and identify upselling or cross‑selling opportunities.
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet revenue targets and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align offerings with client needs.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to refine sales strategies.
- Track performance metrics, report pipeline status, and provide updates to senior management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in business development or sales.
- Strong understanding of market research, sales strategies, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Self‑motivated, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Valid UAE driving license.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
