Business Development Executive

About the role

KPay Group is seeking a Business Development Executive to lead go‑to‑market execution, accelerate merchant acquisition, and drive early revenue in a fast‑growing fintech environment. This zero‑to‑one opportunity will have you shaping the local sales playbook, closing strategic partnerships, and positioning KPay as a trusted partner for merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own the local GTM strategy, including target segments, pricing, partnership roadmap, and sales model.
• Own the early sales cycle: pitch value proposition, qualify prospects, and present tailored solutions to decision‑makers.
• Support deal closings by collaborating with internal teams, creating proposals, and ensuring smooth onboarding.
• Act as the voice of the market by gathering merchant feedback and helping localize core offerings.
• Own revenue targets, meeting and exceeding merchant acquisition and transaction volume goals.

Required profile

• 3+ years of field sales experience, preferably in Payments, POS or SaaS.
• Proven hunter track record with full‑cycle sales success.
• Deep knowledge of the local business landscape and an existing network of merchants or partners.
• Adaptable, self‑motivated, and comfortable in a high‑growth, evolving environment.
• Strong learning mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity.
