Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, within the 3PL and logistics sector. You will work closely with operations, finance and international partners to turn opportunities into profitable business.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve personal operating income targets and meet/exceed sales quotas.
• Prepare and send quotations promptly, maintaining rigorous follow‑up on all proposals.
• Develop weekly sales visit plans and record activities in the GAC Sales system.
• Secure credit approvals for all credit clients and support Finance in managing receivables within agreed terms.
• Transfer qualified leads to internal sales teams and overseas GAC affiliates, while actively converting leads into new business.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations and solutions teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL environments.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven ability to generate leads, manage the sales cycle, and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and capable of working independently as well as within a team.

Required skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or related technology.
