Business Development Executive – Pet Products (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to lead the expansion of a premium Australian dog‑treat brand across the United Arab Emirates. You will work from our head office while spending significant time on‑site visiting pet stores, supermarkets and other retail partners to open new accounts and grow existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Sell premium dog treats and functional snacks to independent pet stores, chain retailers and supermarkets with pet sections.
• Identify and open new accounts, negotiate listings, pricing and promotional activities.
• Maintain and grow relationships with buyers, store managers and key decision‑makers.
• Execute in‑store launches, merchandising setups and promotional events.
• Track orders, follow up on re‑orders and provide market feedback on pricing, competition and trends.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in FMCG or pet products within the UAE.
• Existing network of contacts with pet‑store or supermarket buyers is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable with cold‑calling, store visits and negotiation.
• Self‑motivated, independent and results‑driven.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Valid UAE driving licence and ability to work independently.
