Business Development Manager – Agrochemicals & Pest Management

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for a leading environmental services organisation across the UAE, focusing on agrochemicals, crop protection and pest‑management solutions. This field‑based commercial role requires identifying new opportunities, building relationships and converting them into long‑term contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across agriculture, agrochemical and pest‑management sectors.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet revenue targets, including tender and RFP participation.
• Conduct market mapping, client visits, presentations and commercial discussions.
• Prepare and lead commercial proposals, negotiate contracts and ensure smooth hand‑over to operations teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and provide regular intelligence to management.

Required profile

• 6+ years of proven B2B business development experience in agrochemicals, pesticides, crop protection or related services.
• Strong network and knowledge of the UAE agriculture market, including farms, nurseries, landscaping and government entities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Plant Protection, Business Administration or related field.
