Business Development Manager – Commercial & BD

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive ADFH’s commercial strategy by leading leasing activities, creating value‑added trade and logistics solutions, and attracting regional and international buyers to the hub. This role is essential for positioning the hub as the leading B2B food marketplace in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the leasing plan for hub facilities, achieving occupancy and revenue targets.
• Engage prospective tenants, understand their needs, and tailor commercial proposals.
• Prepare pitch decks, proposals, leasing documents, and coordinate with legal and finance teams.
• Maintain lead pipelines, CRM tracking, and internal deal progress reports.
• Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to shape pricing and sector targeting.
• Coordinate with internal teams (legal, finance, marketing, operations) to align deal structuring.
• Mentor analysts and support team members in research, CRM updates, and documentation.
• Develop integrated solutions and ecosystem partnerships (logistics, financial services, technology) to enhance tenant value.
• Contribute to marketing content, digital platforms, and sectoral strategies aligned with Abu Dhabi’s food security goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Food Supply Chain or related field (Master’s a plus).
• Fluent in English and Mandarin/Cantonese; Arabic advantageous.
• 8+ years of experience in food sourcing, distribution, logistics or related fields.
• Experience in market development, fresh produce or commodities supply chains is a plus.
