About the role
As the Business Development Manager – Corporate at Shangri‑La Dubai, you will drive the hotel’s corporate sales strategy, expanding market share and positioning the property as the premier choice for business travellers and corporate events.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute corporate sales plans to increase revenue and occupancy.
- Identify, secure, and nurture new corporate accounts while growing existing relationships.
- Conduct daily sales calls focused on new business across rooms, F&B, and banquets.
- Collaborate with Sales, Revenue, Marketing, and Operations to optimise conversion and guest experience.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts; maintain accurate records and KPI tracking.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to provide strategic insights.
- Represent the hotel at corporate events and undertake additional business development tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- Business‑related education with experience in corporate sales within an international luxury hotel environment.
- Self‑driven, ambitious, professional, and ethical.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills, able to engage senior corporate stakeholders.
- Creative and strategic thinker offering tailored solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in English.
