Business Development Manager – GRC Advisory

About the role

The Business Development Manager will act as the commercial engine for j. awan & partners' GRC advisory practice across the UAE, KSA and the wider GCC. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to proposal delivery, negotiation and hand‑off to delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage a pipeline of outbound and inbound opportunities, maintaining at least 3x quota coverage.
• Qualify leads within 24 hours and respond to enquiries within the same timeframe.
• Develop structured commercial proposals (hourly rates, fixed fees, retainers, milestone pricing) that accurately reflect scope, timeline and resources.
• Conduct quarterly reviews with top accounts and proactively identify cross‑sell opportunities across eight service lines.
• Deliver complete Handover Packs to delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Track and report on regulatory developments, competitor activity and market trends on a monthly basis.
• Maintain detailed account plans with stakeholder maps for C‑suite, Heads of Compliance, COMLROs and HR Directors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in professional‑services sales, preferably within GRC, compliance or advisory sectors.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with senior‑level decision makers.
• Ability to meet 100 % of quarterly revenue targets and manage multiple concurrent engagements.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and client‑first mindset.
