Business Development Manager – Industrial Automation (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth of our Industrial Networking, Automation and Data Communication solutions across the UAE. The successful candidate will generate leads, build client relationships and expand market share in the automation and technology sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in automation, industrial and technology markets.
• Generate leads through direct outreach, networking events, cold calling and online platforms.
• Research industry trends, conduct market and competitor analysis to uncover revenue opportunities.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Provide post‑sale support, ensure successful implementation and drive upsell/cross‑sell of additional services.
• Travel across GCC as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Automation or related field (preferred).
• 3‑10 years of experience in business development, sales or a similar role within automation, engineering or technology.
• Proven track record of generating leads, building relationships and closing deals in the UAE market.
• Deep understanding of automation solutions, technologies and industry trends.
• Familiarity with UAE industrial sectors such as Energy, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
