Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to generate new fit‑out and interior contracting opportunities for our client‑focused company in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves building strong relationships, expanding the project pipeline and securing commercial contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the commercial fit‑out and interior contracting market.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, consultants, architects, interior designers and project managers.
• Generate qualified leads, track tenders and monitor market opportunities from early stages to award.
• Collaborate with estimating, design and project teams to prepare proposals, tenders and commercial submissions.
• Present solutions, negotiate commercial terms and follow up to convert opportunities into awarded projects.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings and business‑development activities.
• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions and client meetings.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to uncover further opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven business‑development experience in the fit‑out or interior contracting sector.
• Strong network of contacts within the local construction, interiors and real‑estate market.
• Track record of generating leads and converting them into fit‑out projects.
• Good understanding of the fit‑out project lifecycle, tendering process and commercial environment.
• Excellent relationship‑building, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Commercially driven with a focus on revenue and project‑acquisition targets.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with estimating and operational teams.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
