Business Development Manager – Refrigeration, Fit‑Out & Air‑Conditioning

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead sales for refrigeration equipment, cold‑room solutions, air‑conditioning and interior fit‑out projects. You will work closely with the design, engineering and project teams to turn market opportunities into profitable contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with annual revenue and margin targets.
• Identify, qualify and convert leads across supermarkets, hypermarkets, F&B chains, hotels, restaurants, cold‑storage operators and commercial developers.
• Build and manage relationships with consultants, MEP contractors, architects and main contractors to secure specification and tender inclusion.
• Prepare and present technical‑commercial proposals, cost estimates and BOQs for refrigeration installations and fit‑out works.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and site visits to quotation, negotiation, contract closure and hand‑over to operations.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive quotes.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing to inform strategy.
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions and industry events to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
• Maintain pipeline, forecasts and client records in the CRM and report performance to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales track record in refrigeration, HVAC/air‑conditioning, MEP or interior fit‑out sectors.
• Experience developing and executing sales strategies against revenue and margin targets.
• Strong lead generation, qualification and conversion skills across a mixed customer base.
• Ability to manage the complete sales cycle independently.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of refrigeration and cold‑room systems.
• Understanding of air‑conditioning and HVAC technologies.
• Familiarity with interior fit‑out and construction processes.
• Preparation of technical‑commercial proposals, cost estimates and BOQs.
• Experience with tender and specification processes in the construction/MEP industry.
• Proficiency in using a CRM for pipeline and forecast management.
