Business Setup / Corporate Services Consultant

About the role

Motei & Associates' Corporate Services Practice supports the full lifecycle of a corporate entity in the UAE, from choosing the right legal structure and jurisdiction to liquidation or winding up. It advises shareholders and senior executives on UAE company laws, corporate tax and business regulations, and helps with compliance, corporate documents and bank account opening. This consultant manages, operates, develops and markets the Corporate Services department and delivers corporate advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, operate, develop and market the Corporate Services department.
• Provide corporate advisory on business setup, company formation and corporate structuring and restructuring.
• Handle new business setups and company formation for mainland, free zone and offshore companies.
• Keep up with the latest UAE company laws and business regulations.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in a CRM system.
• Draft corporate legal documents such as resolutions, changes of directors and shareholders, attestation and legalization, certificate issuance and bank account openings.
• Engage proactively with clients and with government departments, free zones and banks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in law or business.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a corporate services company or law firm in the UAE.
• Commercially minded, entrepreneurial, self-motivated and able to work independently in a target-driven environment.
• Perfect command of spoken and written English; Russian or Chinese is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UAE compliance regulations and corporate tax law.
• Ability to draft corporate legal documents and maintain client records in a CRM system.
