Business Solutions Specialist

About the role

The Business Solutions Specialist will collect, analyse and report on competitor trends to help define strategies that maximise revenue and improve market positioning. The role also ensures the implementation of Etihad’s rules and ancillary pricing across relevant distribution channels.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track competitors' revenue management and distribution strategies, identifying opportunities and recommending corrective actions.
• Manage the accurate and timely delivery of pricing rules and ancillaries in various distribution systems.
• Investigate and resolve potential channel conflicts through checks and validation.
• Lead cross‑functional projects where strategic pricing is a key stakeholder.
• Provide technical expertise for projects related to Revenue Management and Ancillary departments.
• Coordinate workflow between Revenue Management teams to meet agreed SLAs.
• Support ancillary testing and validation across different channels and tools.
• Benchmark data in revenue management systems to ensure accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the aviation industry, particularly in Revenue Management or Business Analytics, is preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant systems is an advantage.
