Business Studies & Economics Teacher

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Business Studies & Economics Teacher to join its network of schools at the start of the 2027/2028 academic year. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress and contributing to the wider school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater for the full ability range.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and parents to ensure positive academic outcomes.
• Organise classroom resources, create displays and maintain an engaging learning environment.
• Assess and record student progress using Target Tracker and provide feedback at parent‑teacher meetings.
• Manage behaviour in line with the school policy and act as a positive role model.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events and run a weekly extracurricular activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably with EAL learners.
• Passion for teaching the whole child and recent involvement in extra‑curricular activities.
• Professionalism, respect for diversity and a solution‑focused attitude.
• Clean enhanced DBS or police check.
