Butler - Raffles Dubai

About the role

Raffles Dubai, a 5-star hotel in the city centre with an Egyptian-inspired design, is looking for a Butler. The Butler is the guest's main point of contact during their stay, providing personalised service and a seamless, memorable experience. The position reports to the Butler Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Own the guest relationship from pre-arrival to post-departure, anticipating needs and personalising every element of the stay
• Conduct in-room check-ins and room orientations, and handle complaints and service failures with ownership and composure
• Manage guest requests across departments, track them to completion and follow up without being asked
• Inspect arrival and occupied rooms, monitor DND and OOO rooms, and execute Raffles Rituals and special occasion set-ups
• Offer packing and unpacking service and practise genuine, knowledgeable upselling
• Maintain accurate butler notes and collaborate daily with Housekeeping, Private Dining, Front Office, Engineering, Concierge and other departments
• Attend shift briefings, department meetings and training sessions, and uphold the Raffles brand values

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Hospitality Management, Tourism or a related field
• Knowledge of Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and/or Guest Relations operations
• At least 2 years of experience in a guest-facing role in a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel
• Fluent oral and written English; Arabic preferred, additional languages a plus
• Neat, polished appearance, good posture, and a warm, composed presence

• Thorough knowledge of Butler Service SOPs and Raffles Brand Standards
• Guest journey ownership, empathy, anticipation, emotional intelligence and personalisation
• Service recovery, attention to detail, multitasking and strong interpersonal skills
