Cafe Supervisor – Al Ain, Abu Dhabi

About the role

Dawn Cafe is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Supervisor for its Al Ain location in the Abu Dhabi Emirate. The Supervisor will oversee daily cafe operations, manage opening and closing procedures, and ensure consistent service quality and health‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise staff schedules and guide team members during shifts.
• Support training, onboarding and development of new employees.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Coordinate inventory checks, supply ordering and cash handling.
• Work closely with management to implement promotions and improve workflow.
• Assist on the cafe floor during busy periods, modelling excellent customer care.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising teams in hospitality, food service or a similar customer‑facing environment.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills, able to manage guest feedback calmly.
• Ability to manage scheduling, delegate tasks and support staff during peak hours.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene standards.
• Good organisational, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities, especially in cash handling and inventory monitoring.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.
• Previous experience in the UAE F&B sector and a UAE driving licence are preferred.
