Cake Decorator

About the role

Join our team to create fun, festive, and memorable cake experiences for our guests. As a Cake Decorator you will be responsible for turning customer orders into beautifully crafted desserts while upholding Cold Stone quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Decorate cakes and pastries to exact customer specifications using icing bags, handmade cones, air‑brush guns, modeling tools and edible images.
• Prepare and assemble soft‑serve bases and ready‑to‑decorate cakes, ensuring proper storage and display in freezers.
• Maintain accurate inventory of decorated cakes, including backup stock for peak periods.
• Operate and clean Cold Stone cake and soft‑serve equipment safely and in line with health‑safety protocols.
• Sample products, actively promote sales, and support team members to deliver consistent quality and service.
• Keep the work area organized, follow proper product rotation, and adhere to cleaning rotas.
• Report any issues promptly to the supervisor and follow company policies on hygiene, safety, and brand standards.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce uniform, intricate designs.
• Good color vision for mixing icings and creating decorative hues.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods during busy service times.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to uphold brand standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with icing bags, air‑brush guns, modeling tools and mixers.
• Experience operating cake and soft‑serve equipment.
• Inventory tracking and stock rotation.
• Knowledge of food‑service health and safety regulations.
