Camp Boss – Camp Operations Manager

About the role

The Camp Boss will oversee the daily operations of a residential camp in Abu Dhabi, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents. This role combines facilities management, staff supervision, and resident liaison responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day camp operations, including maintenance, housekeeping, and food services.
• Supervise, train, and schedule camp staff such as cleaners, maintenance workers, and security personnel.
• Maintain accurate resident and visitor records, handling check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to deliver timely services to camp residents.
• Monitor safety hazards, report maintenance issues, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Control the camp budget, order supplies, and manage inventory.
• Act as the primary liaison between residents and management, addressing concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Organise recreational activities and events for residents.
• Prepare and submit operational reports to management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar camp‑management role.
• Proven ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong organisational and time‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to reside on‑site at the camp if required.
