Cardiac Surgeon

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgeon to deliver advanced surgical care for heart diseases and cardiovascular conditions. The position is full-time and on-site, with a stated salary range of 600,000 to 720,000.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically manage a wide range of cardiac conditions.
• Perform cardiac surgeries such as coronary artery bypass grafting and heart valve surgery.
• Evaluate patients and design individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Carry out pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative care.
• Monitor patients after surgery and manage potential complications.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists and other specialists, and take part in multidisciplinary discussions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient safety.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS/DNB in General Surgery followed by MCh/DNB in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Significant post-specialization surgical experience preferred.
• Experience in cardiac surgery and post-operative patient management.
• Strong surgical judgment, clinical leadership and communication skills.
