Cargo Customer Affairs Controller

About the role

The Cargo Customer Affairs Controller internship supports the CASA Headquarters unit at Emirates SkyCargo. Working under the Manager Customer Affairs, you will help manage customer complaints and claims from investigation through resolution, ensuring timely and cost‑effective outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in handling customer complaints/claims, coordinating with operational divisions, Group Legal, and Group Insurance.
• Prepare and monitor legal cases, liaise with national enforcement boards, and appoint legal counsel when required.
• Assess compensation levels within authority limits and support the annual budget process.
• Track workload distribution, monitor team performance against KPIs, and identify performance issues.
• Focus on restoring confidence and loyalty, particularly within the Arabic community.

Required profile

• Current enrollment in a relevant university program (e.g., Business, Law, Aviation Management).
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
