About the role

Join the engineering & facilities team at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Sharjah as a Carpenter. You will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing a variety of wood and finish elements throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Build, install, and repair walls, partitions, drywall, wallpaper, millwork/molding, and faux finishes.
• Install and repair laminate finishes and perform rough‑in framing for doors, windows, and cabinetry.
• Construct, maintain, and repair wood structures such as partitions, doors, and furniture.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks including tightening fixtures, changing bulbs, and patching walls.
• Order materials, handle requisitions, and coordinate with vendors.
• Load, transport, and unload freight using hand trucks and elevators.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related carpentry experience.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Physical ability to reach overhead, bend, twist, stoop, and work on ladders.
