Carpenter – Maintenance (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Carpenter will carry out a range of carpentry maintenance tasks across the Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island. You will ensure that guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities are kept safe, functional and visually appealing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on furniture, doors, windows, cabinets and other wooden structures.
• Repair or replace damaged woodwork, fittings and furnishings.
• Install, assemble and modify carpentry items as required.
• Conduct routine inspections, identify maintenance needs and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Support other engineering team members and follow health, safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a carpenter in a 5‑star resort (UAE experience preferred).
• Technical education background with relevant diplomas.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work in a busy schedule and work effectively as part of a team.
