Cashier

About the role

The Cashier manages customer transactions and delivers excellent service at the point of sale. This position is part of the Specialized Sports Equipment team in Al Qasimia, Sharjah, working in an on-site environment focused on accuracy, responsiveness and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cash, credit and debit transactions for motorbike sales, parts and service-related purchases
• Greet customers warmly and help them with queries
• Maintain accurate cash register records, including daily sales reports and receipts
• Process returns and exchanges according to company policy, seeking approval where needed
• Secure cash and payment methods and reconcile them at the end of each shift
• Keep the cashier area tidy and welcoming

Required profile

• Graduate or equivalent; business or finance courses are an advantage
• 2+ years of experience as a cashier or in customer service, preferably in retail or automotive
• Relevant cash-handling or customer-service certification welcomed

Required skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions and records
• Good verbal communication and customer service
• Basic mathematics for cash reconciliation
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash-handling procedures
