CCTV Operations Room Officer

About the role

InterContinental Abu Dhabi is looking for a CCTV Operations Room Officer to join its Security team. The officer safeguards guests, colleagues, hotel facilities and assets by monitoring surveillance, reporting promptly and following security procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across the hotel to protect guests, colleagues and property.
• Keep key areas under constant watch and spot suspicious activity or potential risks.
• Report security concerns and incidents to the Security team and assist in investigations.
• Review, retrieve and preserve CCTV footage when needed, and keep accurate records of surveillance and incidents.
• Check that cameras, monitors and recording systems work and report technical issues.
• Follow emergency response procedures and hotel policies on security and privacy.

Required profile

• Previous experience in CCTV monitoring, security operations or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong observation skills, attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle confidential information discreetly.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CCTV surveillance systems and monitoring software.
• Basic computer applications.
